Book Boffz celebrated the end of another fantastic year with a party to bid farewell to our Upper Third members. The occasion was marked with several rounds of our popular Game of Quotes, followed by Bookbusters, before certificates were presented and everyone enjoyed plenty of sweet treats. Special congratulations go to Eashar S. (U3rds), who has attended an incredible 43 out of 44 sessions over the last two years, with Joshua A. (U3rds) close behind with 40 sessions.
Our Upper Thirds have been real stalwarts of Book Boffz, and we will miss their wit, enthusiasm and impressive book knowledge greatly. While we are sad to say goodbye, we are delighted that they have enjoyed Book Boffz so much that they plan to set up their own group for then Fourths. Look out for the Novel Nerds in September!
As one-chapter closes, another begins. We look forward to welcoming our current Third formers back in September and, hopefully, some new Book Boffz members will be joining them too. Finally, we also say a huge thank you to Alexander B. (4ths), our Book Boffz pupil helper this year, whose invaluable assistance (particularly with the biscuits!) has been greatly appreciated.
